My 5.30am Alarm Clock

So, I did manage to get to the gym last night and did a light upper workout.  It went well, and I certainly felt much better than the last time I tried a workout a few weeks ago.  I guess I was still unwell then as I was very nauseous, cold and clammy.

I took a couple of tramadol at around 7.30pm and went to sleep at 10.30pm.  Didn’t wake at 3.30am!  Did however wake up at 5.30am with a mild headache.  I wolfed down some water and a couple of paracetamol, but then couldn’t get back to sleep.  I then began to notice that my back was getting really sore – to the point that I just gave up trying to sleep.

So feeling pretty sleepy today.  The plan is to hit the gym again tonight – and I’m contemplating giving in and taking a celebrex before I sleep.  I really need to get a good night’s sleep.

The good news is that I have no other joint pains.  Only lower back – and some “good” muscle soreness from the gym.
