Drugs for Psoriasis / Psoriatic Arthritis

In this first section I have information regarding biologics.  Injectable drugs referred to as biologic DMARDs (Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs)—or simply, biologics—are used to treat both rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, chronic conditions in which the immune system attacks the lining of the joints, causing swelling, stiffness, and pain. The biologics do not cure arthritis, but they do alleviate symptoms and may help prevent further joint damage.

You’ll find I have linked references, however if you are looking for a more scientific approach (or just more information on biologics) then I highly recommend the comprehensive free report produced on biologics by Consumer Reports Health Best Buy Drugs™ which you can find here.  They also have more detailed information on costs here.
